Things that make you go hmmm …

Filed under: Uncategorized — Porcupyn @ 8:51 pm

Marv Albert can pronounce Zydrunas Ilgauskas but gets tongue-tied with Hedayat Turkoglu. It gets shortened to Hedo! 😉

  1. I knew…I knew…they always liked Lithuanians more than the Turks 😉

On that note, Kobe or er, Dwight?

I say Lakers, but I REALLY wish Magic!!!

  2. D.S.:

Would be fun if Zydrunas were maried to a desi and had a son named Shalivahana, Vikramaditya or some such … I would love to see Marv yank his toupee off trying to get all those syllables in.

Though I’m a big Phil Jackson fan (and a small Kobe fan) and though I don’t know if they (the Magic) can really make a match of it, I’ve gotta go with the home team here. 🙂

  3. Oh man, your points have come down ‘big time’ in my table (for the first time ever!) 🙂 Phil Jackson fan, really? REALLY?

You seem too modest to appreciate an arrogant @-#^$%

p.S: Yes, I do keep a mental table for different people and assign points to them on the degree of ‘likability’ 🙂

Please refer to my reply to your other comment. There is no way I would like Kobe more than Phil. Though I agree that degrees in/of education and earned income don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand, it is for sure that folks that drop out have an arrogance about them that would not be there had they had a degree.
